Nimbus oil paintings

I've been revisiting some of my favorite Nimbus images and turning them into oil paintings. Several are currently on exhibit in New Haven CT. It's the first time that I've exhibited these paintings and I'm getting a nice response from them.

Next up on my easel is Nimbus and the Amsterdam Concert. My print that inspired this painting was in the Society of Illustrators 58th Annual Exhibition this past January, and has just been accepted into American Illustration 35:
